The SM Silent plastic mixflow inline fan offers an extraction rate of 840 m3/hr. The fan comes hardwired with a lead and plug for quick and easy DIY installation. Note the fan also has a low speed which can be achieved by wiring the fan to the low speed terminal (electrician required). On the low speed the unit offers 690 m3/hr. This exhaust fan operates at a quieter level compared to others fans of a similar capacity.

Good product, easy mounting bracket and installation, and quiet operation, however – big downfall, there is a lot of air leakage around the inlet and outlet ports. The seals and ‘quick release’ clips, although easy to use, are cheap and do not seal well. Not ideal as this is being used in an air filtration system.
