The 15W SolarWhiz Solar Powered Roof Ventilator comes complete with both the adjustable thermo/hygrostat and Night kit. The N-OPS kit (Also known as the Constant Current Module) serves as a valuable accessory to the Solar Whiz system, allowing it to operate even in low-light conditions like cloudy days or nighttime. If solar power is insufficient, mains electricity immediately assists to maintain consistent operation; this is a constant-current system, not one that waits for solar depletion. Once night falls, the system automatically transitions to operate solely on mains electricity, ensuring continuous ventilation throughout the night. Also included is an adjustable digital thermo/hygrostat, allowing you to define the required temperature & humidity for the unit to begin operating at with an easy-to-use interface. These two components combined provide the comprehensive roof ventilation solution.

The 15W SolarWhiz Solar Powered Roof Ventilator is the perfect choice for comfortably ventilating standard-pitched homes of up to 120 square metres. Included is a flexible aluminium flashing that is suitable for metal or tiled roofs. It provides a reliable and energy-efficient ventilation system for your rooftop areas. How it Works
The Solar Whiz Solar Powered Ventilator with Night Kit runs whenever there is active sunlight reaching the solar panel. The mains power seamlessly supports solar energy to maintain a consistent airflow, operating on a constant-current principle. This ensures effective and reliable removal of heat and moisture from your roof space, regardless of fluctuating solar intensity. When night arrives, the unit automatically switches to run entirely on mains electricity, providing uninterrupted ventilation. This consistent operation prevents the formation of condensation and maintains a healthy atmosphere within your roof space.
For the majority of installations dealing with heat within the roof space, this is suitable as direct sunlight is often the cause of excessive roof space heat. Solar Whiz is an effective solution for hot roof spaces, providing an efficient exchange of hot air. For Solar Whiz to provide maximum performance, replacement air must be accessible and professional installation is required. High volumes of hot air can be extracted from the roof space and/or home interior, thus allowing for a much cooler atmosphere in the ceiling and living spaces.
The included Adjustable Digital Thermo/Hygrostat provides total control when your Solar Whiz operates, and you can deactivate the system to keep the heat in winter. During periods of exceptional heat, this can enable the unit to operate earlier, preventing heat build-up. Alternatively, you can deactivate the system to retain heat in winter. The Night Kit can still work during more gloomy days or even throughout the night and enables your Solar Whiz to run on mains electricity.
