The TT Silent Inline fan is an innovative product designed specifically to operate quietly, and no speed control is needed. With a built-in 50mm layer of mineral wool sound insulation, this product ensures quiet operation without compromising on performance. The fan has a capacity of 1020m3/hr on the highest speed and a dBA rating of 36. Most fans on the market with a comparable capacity will be around the 55-60dBA mark! Used to modify a loud range hood ventilation. Air flow excellent and is quieter than other motors but motor sound can still be heard. Installed motor inside a box with insulation also. was hopping to just get the airflow noise but can still hear motor whine. Much better than before and you can talk in the kitchen with it on or don’t have to turn the tv up in the living room like before…

Definitely very quiet fan – which is what I was after. Yet to fully install, but it is well built and put together. Looks to be worth the extra dollars over the cheaper options.

Seems sturdily constructed and of good quality. A bit noisier than I expected but not bad. An electrician recommended to suspect the unit from straps rather than to drill it into the rafters to reduce the transfer of noice.
